Full Definition

VSP (Vertical Shoot Positioning) is the most common modern trellising system. Shoots grow upward between catch wires, creating a vertical, two-dimensional canopy. It provides excellent sunlight exposure, air circulation, and mechanization potential. VSP works well in cool to moderate climates; hot climates may need more shade.
