Full Definition
Trellising trains vines onto wire systems supported by posts. Different trellis designs (VSP, GDC, Scott Henry, Lyre) position canopy differently, affecting sunlight exposure, air circulation, and fruit quality. Trellising decisions consider climate, variety, and desired wine style. Untrellis bush vines are an alternative.
