Oxidative yellow wine from France's Jura region.
Full Definition
Vin Jaune (yellow wine) from the Jura is made from Savagnin grapes aged under a film of flor yeast for minimum 6 years and 3 months without topping up. The oxidative aging creates unique nutty, curry-like character. Bottled in 620ml clavelins. Similar to dry Sherry but unfortified.
