Wine made from grapes grown on property owned or controlled by the winery.
Full Definition
Estate-bottled wine comes from grapes grown in vineyards owned or controlled by the winery, fermented and bottled on the property. In the US, both vineyards and winery must be in the same appellation. Estate implies quality control from vine to bottle, though doesn't guarantee quality.
