Barolo is a DOCG in Piedmont, Italy, considered one of Italy's greatest red wines. Made exclusively from Nebbiolo, it's known for powerful tannins, high acidity, and complex aromas of tar, roses, and dried herbs. Requires minimum 38 months aging (62 for Riserva). Famous crus include Cannubi, Brunate, and Vigna Rionda.
