Vendange is the French term for grape harvest. Vendanges (plural) refers to the harvest season. Vendange Tardive means late harvest (used in Alsace for sweet wines). Vendange Verte (green harvest) is the summer practice of dropping unripe clusters to concentrate remaining fruit.
