Riesling is considered one of the world's greatest white grapes, producing wines from bone-dry to intensely sweet. Germany's signature variety, it's also important in Alsace, Austria, Australia, and parts of the US. Hallmarks include high acidity, aromatic intensity, and exceptional aging ability with development of petrol notes.
