Full Definition
Spicy describes aromas and flavors of spices - pepper (black, white, pink), clove, cinnamon, anise, nutmeg, ginger. Some varieties are naturally spicy (Syrah's black pepper, Gewurztraminer's spice). Oak aging can add spice notes. Spiciness differs from heat from alcohol.
