Gamay (Gamay Noir a Jus Blanc) is the signature grape of Beaujolais, France, producing light to medium-bodied red wines with bright acidity and red fruit character. Often made by carbonic maceration for fresh, fruity style. The ten Beaujolais crus can produce serious, age-worthy wines. Also grown in Loire Valley and Switzerland.
