Full Definition
Flabby describes wine with insufficient acidity, resulting in a flat, soft, lifeless character. The wine lacks freshness and structure, feeling heavy and unfocused. Flabbiness can result from overripe grapes, hot climates, or excessive malolactic fermentation. The opposite of crisp or bright.
