Full Definition
Coulure is a vine disorder where flowers fail to set into berries, reducing yields significantly. It's caused by poor weather (rain, cold, wind) during flowering, or vine imbalances. Some varieties like Merlot and Malbec are particularly susceptible. While reducing quantity, it can concentrate remaining fruit quality.
