Leafroll Virus

Full Definition
Leafroll virus is a widespread grapevine disease spread by mealybugs and infected propagation material. It reduces photosynthesis, delays ripening, decreases sugar accumulation, and affects color development. Infected vines produce lower quality grapes. No cure exists; prevention involves clean plant material and pest control.
