Full Definition
Albarino is a white grape variety primarily from Spain's Rias Baixas region in Galicia. It produces aromatic wines with citrus, peach, and saline minerality, often with notable texture. Traditionally grown on pergola trellises in granite soils. Also grown in Portugal (as Alvarinho) for Vinho Verde. Excellent with seafood.
