Wittmann Riesling Westhofener Morstein Grosses Gewächs 2018

Wet stone, lime pith, and a saline sea-breeze quality drive the nose with striking intensity. Dense and almost viscous on entry, the wine packs serious concentration, yet a piercing, high-strung acidity keeps everything honest, slicing through the weight and refusing to let the richness settle. This is Morstein doing what Morstein does: muscular, demanding, and built for the long haul. Give it five to eight years before uncorking.
