Dense and brooding, with cassis, tar, rose petals and tobacco building powerfully on the palate. The structure is formidable. Gripping tannins and driving acidity suggest this needs serious cellaring to integrate. Less giving than Burlotto's other crus at this stage, but the sheer concentration promises exceptional rewards. Drink 2030-2045.
