Wittmann Riesling Westhofener Brunnenhäuschen Grosses Gewächs 2014

Serious, tightly-knit Brunnenhäuschen GG that hasn't begun to open up. Lime zest, green apple, and a stony, chalky edge define the core, underpinned by gripping acidity that keeps the mouth watering long after the finish. The concentration here is dense and focused, nothing is giving itself away yet. Best cellared for at least 5–8 years, when it should shed that austerity and show what the vineyard is truly capable of.
