Chalk dust, dried lemon peel and warm brioche set the stage for a wine of real precision. Fine bubbles carry concentrated orchard fruit through a stony, almost austere midpalate, where the extra brut format strips everything back to pure Les Carelles terroir. Nothing is softened here, the zero dosage lays the vineyard bare, and what it says is compelling. Exceptional.
