Georges Laval Cumières Brut Nature - 2022 Base NV

Apple blossom, wet autumn leaves, and a hint of warm spice open things up, with fine persistent bubbles threading citrus brightness through to a clean, chalky close. Cumières gives its usual composed, understated elegance here, but this release is notably open and expressive from the start, less austere than Laval typically presents. A lovely entry point into the domaine's singular style.
