Chartogne-Taillet Couarres Château Extra Brut - 2012 Base NV

Rich and immediate from 1987-planted Pinot Noir. Creamy texture carries lemon oil, chamomile and almond through to dried flowers on the finish. More forthcoming than some single-parcel Champagnes, with generous fruit balanced by mineral tension.
