From the western slope of Achleiten, this 2024 opens with a quiet, restrained nose, tangerine peel drifts out slowly, nothing forced. On the palate it's taut and concentrated, with a lucid freshness that seems to sink into the wine rather than sit on top of it. Tangerine oil edges the fruit, adding texture without weight. What sets this apart is a deeper register beneath, a mineral pull that extends the finish well beyond what you'd expect at this stage. Give it time.
