Moric Hausmarke Weiss 2024

A blend of Grüner Veltliner, Chardonnay and Riesling from St. Georgen and the Ruster Hügelland. Flinty smoke and reduction open the nose, but citrus and passion fruit push through with real brightness. On the palate, the fruit takes over entirely, tangerine, lemon, grapefruit and passion fruit in a wave of concentrated juiciness that borders on lush. What keeps it honest is the frame: slender, firm, bone-dry. The depth here is genuine, not just a function of ripeness. Impressive stuff for a house white.
