F.X. Pichler Riesling Klostersatz 2024

Danubian gravel does something particular to Riesling, and Klostersatz shows it clearly. Passion fruit, bergamot and a squeeze of fresh citrus give the nose an aromatic lift that's hard to ignore. On the palate, the wine stays light and lean, with a clean line of acidity pulling everything into focus. Svelte rather than substantial, but that linearity is the point.
