Pichler keeps things disciplined, white pepper, sage, and a touch of orchard fruit on the nose, understated but precise. On the palate, a creamy, supple texture cushions what could otherwise feel dense, with yeasty depth and a faint citrus pith bitterness giving it grip. Then the freshness kicks in and sharpens everything: the finish is long, saline, and fragrant with crushed fern and lemon zest. Substance and vitality in equal measure.
