Sourced from Danubian gravels near the winery, Klostersatz is the one plain-grown single-site in Franz Pichler's lineup, and it shows a softer, rounder side of the Wachau. Crushed sage, gentle yeast and a faint creaminess define the nose. On the palate, the wine earns its place through balance rather than power: good concentration, easy juiciness, and a savory, food-friendly finish that lingers without demanding attention.
