Yeast still dominates the nose on this upper-slope Kreutles, with green pear and juicy apple making only fleeting appearances beneath it. Given time, the wine opens up to show real concentration, lemon zest and brioche-like yeast at the core, with white pepper and lemon pith adding both grip and a salivating length. It's tightly-knit now, but that structure promises well.
