Still somewhat closed on the nose, though citrus pith and a faint conifer note push through the reductive veil. On the palate, the wine opens with surprising lightness before revealing serious depth, zesty, stony, and charged with the kind of raw youthfulness that signals a long road ahead. The finish lands clean and mineral, with the Achleiten terroir written all over it. Bone-dry and built to age, this needs time to show its full hand.
