Mullineux Chenin Blanc Schist 2023

Schist soils run shallow here, stressing the vines into small, thick-skinned clusters, and you can taste it. Yellow plum, jasmine and a cool stony undercurrent on the nose, with a floral lift that sets it apart from the other Mullineux Chenins. In the mouth it's feisty and oily, with a phenolic grip that gives real presence and depth. The finish is long and sustained. Standout potential.
