Back in the lineup after sitting out 2022, the Iron is more guarded on the nose than its Granite sibling, lanolin, yellow stone fruit, a certain inward quality that takes its time. Where it opens up is on the palate: rich and oily in texture, with real depth and spice that the Granite doesn't quite reach. The finish is long and persistent, with grip to spare. Give it two or three years and it will reward the patience.
