From vines planted between 1921 and 1980 across four cool, limestone-driven sites within Ried Kirchberg. Peony, dried violet and pristine blue fruit, the floral signature is insistent from the first sniff and never really lets go. On the palate, the structure is dense yet finely woven, with firm, polished tannins locked in step with vivid freshness. There's a silky, almost weightless quality to the texture that belies the wine's depth and concentration. Precision and perfume in equal measure. Give it time, this will only gain in stature.
