Cherry liqueur, dried rose, forest floor and a faint truffle note on the nose, it's an inviting, low-key Paarl red. Light on its feet with a bright mid-palate lift, though some riper fruit pushes through before the wine pulls back into a clean, herbal finish with a touch of wintergreen and smooth texture. Enjoyable now and over the next five years.
