F.X. Pichler Riesling Klostersatz 2023

Pichler's only flat-ground Riesling, grown in the lean Danube gravels too poor for Grüner Veltliner to thrive. Mandarin and ripe pear lead on the nose, brightened by a tropical lift that makes the wine immediately inviting. Bone-dry on the palate, it drinks with an easy, juice-driven generosity, fresh fruit flowing through to a clean, zesty finish without a hint of weight or fatigue. Uncomplicated in the best sense.
