Drawn from Danubian gravel sites immediately around the winery, this Klostersatz opens with a gentle creaminess, yeasty and soft, with crushed woodruff and green herb weaving through the nose. On the tongue it's light and transparent, almost delicate, with fine white pepper spice and a savory, mellow core that eases into clean, refreshing acidity on the finish. Bone-dry and precise, it's an honest, understated expression of estate-grown Grüner.
