Tightly wound with citrus peel and wet stone aromatics that need coaxing from the glass. The palate shows classic Clavoillon precision. Linear acidity cuts through layers of orchard fruit while chalky minerality provides backbone. A hint of warm spice lingers on the finish. Needs two years to shed its current reserve and show its true character.
