Pale salmon-pink from Zweigelt and Pinot Noir off gravelly Wagram soils. There's a reductive edge and faint yeasty note on the nose at first, but give it a moment and ripe redcurrant, tart cherry, and a trace of strawberry come through cleanly. Fermented and aged in wood with full malolactic, yet the fruit stays bright and unencumbered, summer berries with a softness that calls to mind English pudding. Bone-dry, light on its feet, and genuinely sophisticated for the style.
