From the rockier soils of Grand Cru Pfersigberg, this is dark, brooding and tightly wound. Smoke curls off the nose while the palate delivers dense, coiled fruit and tannins with real grip. There's a streak of freshness running through it, the structure is there, the generosity is not, yet. Give it time to open up. Drink 2027–2033.
