Wieninger Grüner Veltliner Nussberg 2022

Sourced from Ried Serfellner and Weisleiten on the western face of the Nussberg, grown over deep calcareous loam. Earthy and plush on the nose, with a density that sets it apart from lighter-styled Viennese Grüner, yet it never feels heavy, thanks to a clean streak of freshness running through the core. The wine fills the mouth with ripe, rounded fruit and a faint pithy grip, while retaining the definition and contour you'd hope for from this site. Bone-dry and polished.
