From 45–60-year-old vines in the Kollmitz vineyard, this bone-dry Weissburgunder leads with a lifted, lemony nose, fresh and focused, with a stony undercurrent. The body is slender and precise, almost austere, channeling the vineyard's mineral character with just a touch of fruit softness to keep it from feeling stark. Crisp lemon pith carries through to the finish, which stays clean and vivid. Elegance over weight, with fine verve.
