Ostertag Sylvaner Vieilles Vines 2022

Old-vine character from 85-year-old vines grown across sandstone, loess and marl. Ripe Mirabelle dominates nose and palate alike, juicy and forward, lifted by a gentle yeasty undercurrent. The texture is rounded, with a pleasing bitter edge of plum skin on the finish and just a whisper of heat. Bone-dry.
