Mullineux Kloof Street Rouge 2022

Around 30% whole-bunch-crushed, this Swartland red opens with warmth and generosity, raspberry jam, bitter orange peel and a touch of dried fig. Medium-bodied and approachable from the first sip, though don't mistake the soft entry for a lack of substance; a quiet but firm grip builds through the mid-palate, and garrigue-like scrub carries the finish with real character. Very fine.
