Sourced from two high-elevation parcels at the forest edge of the Steinertal, the 2022 shows crushed citrus leaf and bitter Seville orange on the nose, understated but precise. Bone-dry and brisk on the palate, it carries a lean, driven frame with surprising concentration tucked inside its slender build. Stone and citrus run clean through to a finish of real purity. Fine-boned and fragrant, this is Steinertal in an almost nervous, keenly focused register.
