F.X. Pichler Riesling Burgstall 2022

From a granite and gneiss plateau with sandy topsoil, sitting at roughly 40 meters between the valley floor and the foothills, full sun all day, tempered by good airflow. Tangerine and a delicate chervil lift on the nose, subtle but precise. Slender and citrus-driven, the wine moves across the palate with clean energy and fine concentration, the body contoured rather than broad. Bone-dry and long, it finishes with a bright, lemon-pith snap that holds.
