Harvested from the deep gneiss soils of the Schütt, cooled by cold air funneling down from the Mental graben. Ripe pear and lemon curd lead on the nose, with a faint yeasty lift adding texture. Bone-dry on the palate, but there's nothing austere here, bright citrus fruit fills the mid-palate generously, while the acidity stays clean and focused rather than cutting. Beautifully sustained on the finish, with lemon zest and a stony mineral thread carrying the wine long after the last sip. Pure, precise, and driven by that unmistakable Schütt energy.
