The texture is genuinely silky, ripe plum and berry fruit cushioned by fine-grained tannins that sharpen toward the finish. A firm seam of acidity runs through the whole thing, lending grip and direction. Edgy at the close, but in a way that suggests this wants more time. Drink 2027–2038.
