Mullineux White Old Vines 2021

Chenin Blanc-dominant at 62%, drawn from vines up to 70 years old and fermented in 500-litre barrels and foudres. Dried honey, honeysuckle, white flowers and a lick of toasted walnut on the nose, complex but composed. The texture is generous without being heavy, underpinned by a fine, focused acidity that keeps everything in line. The finish tightens nicely, showing real grip and length. Outstanding Swartland white with the structure to age gracefully.
