From old vines in Lutzmannsburg, aged two years in large, seasoned oak. Blueberry and mulberry lead on the nose, red-fruited and precise, with a faint lift of dried oakleaf and a subtle smoky undercurrent. On the palate, it's cooling and composed, with fine, lightly grippy tannins that echo the oakleaf character without overwhelming the wine's true focus: pure, bright acidity. Stone and smoke drift quietly in the background, never intruding. Graceful and poised, this is Blaufränkisch in a particularly disciplined register. Bone-dry.
