Familia Nin Ortiz Planetes Clàssic 2021

A three-way blend of 46% Garnatxa, 29% whole-cluster Cariñena and 25% Garnatxa Peluda, and about as far from Priorat's muscular reputation as the region gets. Fresh cherry and violet on the nose, with a trace of white pepper rising from the stems. Light-bodied and dry, it flows with an easy, thirst-quenching looseness: clean red fruit, a bright cut of blood orange on the finish, nothing overwrought. Unpretentious and genuinely joyful.
