Granny Smith and ripe pear drift quietly off the glass, pulled from sandstone, limestone and clay parcels across Riquewihr, Zellenberg and Ribeauvillé. On the palate it's lean and bright, lemon acidity doing most of the driving, with a citrus pith snap on the finish that keeps things lively. Light-bodied and effortlessly drinkable, bone-dry but never austere.
