Pure loess on a southeast-facing Wagram slope gives this wine its distinctive character. Lemon curd, green pear and a lifted citrus freshness set the tone on the nose. White pepper and yeasty savory depth animate the palate, which stays lean, bone-dry and focused throughout. There's a pleasing phenolic bite on the finish, tangy and clean, with real grip. Grüner Veltliner doing exactly what it should.
