Albert Boxler Riesling K Brand Grand Cru 2021

A faint reductive edge on the nose clears quickly, giving way to lemon pith, wet stone, and something almost chalky and saline. On the palate it's lean and focused, taut without being severe, with a juicy undercurrent that keeps things lively rather than austere. The stony, earthy core holds everything together through a long, gripping finish with real mineral persistence. Bone-dry, from 1947-planted vines on high-altitude weathered granite within the Kirchberg parcel of Brand Grand Cru.
