Dried herbs and stone fruit show promise, but aggressive volatile acidity derails what could be an appealing expression of Erbaluce. The VA cuts through the mid-palate and lingers unpleasantly on the finish, masking the variety's natural elegance. Both bottles displayed the same flaw, pointing to cellar issues rather than random variation.
